1 Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
• Profile Information: You may optionally provide your display name, profile photo, tennis skill level, gender, birth year, phone number, WeChat ID, biography, play cities, and club memberships.
• Match Posts: Information about tennis matches you create, including venue, date/time, duration, participant limits, and skill level requirements.
• Chat Messages: Content of messages you send in one-on-one chats, match group chats, and custom group chats.
• Bug Reports: Information you voluntarily submit when reporting issues through the App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: With your permission, we collect your device's GPS coordinates to help you find nearby tennis matches and courts. We also use IP-based geolocation as a fallback. You can disable location services at any time through your device settings.
• Device Information: We collect device model, operating system version, and app version to ensure compatibility and improve the App.
• Push Notification Tokens: We collect Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to send you notifications about match requests, friend requests, and other activity.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account
• To facilitate tennis matchmaking — helping you find games and players near you
• To enable communication between users (chat, friend system, group chats)
• To send push notifications about match invites, friend requests, and other relevant activity
• To display nearby tennis matches on an interactive map
• To improve and optimize the App's features and user experience
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms
• To respond to your support requests and bug reports

3 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect and process your data:

• Firebase (by Google): We use Firebase Authentication (for login), Cloud Firestore (for user data, matches, chats), Realtime Database (for chat messages), Cloud Storage (for profile photos), Cloud Functions (for backend logic), and Cloud Messaging (for push notifications). Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and profile information with us. Google's privacy policy applies to that part of the authentication process.
• OpenStreetMap: Our map view uses OpenStreetMap tiles via the flutter_map library. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy is available at wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
• Geolocator: We use this package to access your device's GPS location (with your permission).

4 Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your profile information (display name, skill level, photo, bio, play cities, club memberships) is visible to other users of the App if your profile is set to public. You can make your profile private at any time in settings.
• Match Data: Information about tennis matches you create or join is visible to other users as necessary for the matchmaking function.
• Chat Messages: Messages you send in chats are visible to the participants of those chats.
• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party service providers (Firebase/Google) who help us operate the App, subject to their privacy policies.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

5 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

Chat messages and match data may be retained in anonymized form for analytical purposes.

6 Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS
• Secure password storage via Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Security Rules that restrict database access based on user authentication

7 Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Update: You can access and update your profile information at any time through the App's settings.
• Account Deletion: You can delete your account through the App's settings. This will remove your profile, match posts, and personal data.
• Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.
• Push Notifications: You can opt out of push notifications through your device settings or the App's settings.
• Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.
• Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time by contacting us, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

8 Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9 International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States (where Firebase/Google servers are located). By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10 User-Generated Content & Disclaimer

The App facilitates connections between tennis players and allows users to post match events, communicate via chat, and share information. We act as a platform and are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content
• The conduct of any user, whether online or offline
• Any disputes, injuries, damages, or losses arising from in-person meetings arranged through the App
• Any cancellations, no-shows, or changes to match events posted by users

11 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated via push notification or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
